Advanced Leadership Academy

The Advanced Leadership Academy is the next level of leadership development for experienced managers and leaders, such as graduates of a public health leadership institute (such as MARPHLI), or leader managers with 10 or more years experience who are looking to expand their functional knowledge and skills in a networked learning environment with peers.

As leaders in public health and health care, you know the importance of leadership development during tenuous periods of shifting economics and policies.  In these modern times, leaders who possess the knowledge and demonstrable skills and competencies have a cutting-edge over others in their ability to collaborate, plan, control, assess, and maintain high performance during challenging times. The MidAmerica Public Health Training Center is pleased to announce recruitment for its advanced leadership training program, The Advanced Leadership AcademyThe purpose of this advanced-level leadership development program is to strengthen and enhance the management and leadership skills for executive directors and senior leaders in public health agencies and health departments, as well as their peer leaders in health care organizations (e.g., community health centers, etc.) that engage in activities with public health organizations.

PROGRAM FEATURES:

Participants will engage in a timely and rigorous curriculum that will provide the knowledge and skills to help executive directors and senior leaders successfully manage and lead their organizations in the changing climate after health care reform.
