Public Health Policy & Public Health Informatics Online Courses Announced

The MidAmerica Public Health Training Center is excited to offer two new online courses, Introduction to Public Health Public Policy and Introduction to Public Health Informatics.
Introduction to Public Health Public Policy
Public health practice requires an understanding of the policy-making process. Introduction to Public Health Public Policy will allow students to understand through what venues and methods they can effectively inform public health public policy. Introduction to Public Health Informatics
Public health practice requires the management of information for maximizing the impact of public health interventions and for informing policy and practice. Introduction to Public Health Informatics will give students an overview of the field of informatics as it relates to public health. These courses are offered for free to students through a Health Resources and Services Administration grant.
Space for each course is limited to 25 students.
